About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with proven customer service skills within retail and/or warehousing environments.  Your main responsibilities will include:

  • First point of contact for retail sales and enquiries;
  • Receiving and storing of incoming goods;

  • Current valid driving licence;
  • A self-starter with the ability to work successfully autonomously as well as part of a team when required.

Our Six Week Work Placement Program – 2026

AGnVET are offering positions for 2026 graduands completing Agricultural specific university degrees.

Running over 6 weeks, our Program is especially designed to accelerate the learning and acquisition of essential in- field, branch and business skills and knowledge, through both coaching and hands-on experience. We aim to provide talented individuals an opportunity early in career to gain the foundations to become great future technical and business leaders.

There will be real and challenging assignments and while you will have support from our current experienced business & technical leaders, you will be expected to demonstrate your potential and deliver results.

Experiences will be tailored to match your personal development aspirations and needs, as well as continuing to develop your technical, management and leadership potential.

After successful completion of the program, you will be considered for suitable available roles.

About You

You are currently completing your penultimate year in an Agricultural specific degree and are keen to gain a career opportunity in an agribusiness where you can apply and extend your learning through hands-on experience and exposure to roles in a successful enterprise.

You’ll be a high achiever and thrive on learning and applying that to get great results.

Participating in our Student Work Placement Program will provide you with an unrivalled background as preparation for technical, management and leadership roles within AGnVET.

About The Role

AGnVET Animal Production Advisors (APA’s), are a resource not just for our customers but for our staff also. APA’s provide support in a mentoring capacity for existing staff to further develop their technical and sales skills and ultimately their ability to service customers.

APA’s provide advice to our customers ranging from customised Annual Production Plans encompassing parasite management plans, nutritional supplementing programs and industry Best Practice Management protocols, to more targeted programs where our diagnostic and data collection services come into play. Our APA’s are equipped with ‘real time’ data collection tools such as portable worm egg counting units and electronic identification reading equipment to assist in collecting relevant, accurate information in order to provide precise solutions.

As an Animal Production Graduate, you will have the benefit of gaining a good understanding of the branch merchandising operations whilst being supported by our experienced APA’s and field services team in the field. Ultimately providing the complete service to a customer from understanding a request or issue, to sourcing and providing the best solution.

You will be based in Northern NSW and working closely with an APA and extended field services team, you will gain exposure to several branches in the region. The graduate program will commence in early 2026, or sooner, depending on your availability.

About You

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with proven customer service skills within retail and/or warehousing environment.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Building excellent customer relationships
  • General duties supporting the branch in the day-to-day operations, such as:
    • In store first point of contact for retail sales and enquiries
    • Receiving and storing of incoming goods
    • Order processing including point of sale and invoicing
    • Picking and packing of outgoing goods to customers and store transfers
  • General merchandising and stock presentation
  • Assisting with stock control including inventory monitoring and stocktakes

  • The ability to do small pump repairs would be advantageous.

About You

You will have experience working in a retail sales and/or warehouse environment.  Ideally you will have a car license and/or a forklift license (or willingness and ability to obtain).

It would be advantageous to have irrigation experience with a good knowledge of pipe types/sizes, applications, and fittings. Experience in or ability to learn how to make recommendations for irrigation parts and pumps for various uses such as household, dams, water transfer/bores and rivers, would also be advantageous.

Other skills and experiences will include Point of Sale transactions, written and verbal communication skills, inventory/stock control, use of forklift, time management, problem solving skills and effective interpersonal skills.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with demonstrated skills in technology and environmental monitoring, to deliver Precision Ag soil sampling services provided by AGnVET to its customers in the Shepparton-Cobram region.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate and deliver services such as crop scouting, sampling, monitoring equipment services, trapping, animal health services and trials.

Customer Service Officer | Warren

Customer Service Officer (CSO) – Warren

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with proven customer service skills within retail and/or warehousing environments.  Your main responsibilities will include:

  • First point of contact for retail sales and enquiries;
  • Receiving and storing of incoming goods;
  • Order processing including point of sale and invoicing;
  • Picking and packing of outgoing goods to customers and store transfers;
  • Assist with stock control including inventory monitoring and stocktakes;
  • Building excellent customer relationships;
  • Champion safety and compliance requirements;
  •  General duties supporting the branch in the day-to-day operations

About You

  • Cert III in Retail or minimum 2 years retail or warehouse experience;
  • Computer literacy:  Basic level Microsoft Office (eg Outlook, Word and Excel, Point of Sale Transactions and financial software;
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication (listening, written and verbal) skills, including the ability to work with a diverse range of people;
  • Ability to work successfully both autonomously and as part of a team;
  • Ability to problem solve, as appropriate to role and responsibility level;
  • Excellent customer service skills – the ability to build successful relationships and to exceed a customer’s expectations;
  • Current valid driving licence;
  • A self-starter with the ability to work successfully autonomously as well as part of a team when required.

Desirable:

  • Forklift licence (or willingness and ability to obtain);
  • Experience in the agricultural industry;
  • Inventory management experience.
