Customer Service Officer (CSO) – Corowa – casual

We are seeking a casual to join our Team to assist us throughout the year during periods of leave and also during “peak” season eg March, April and May.  If you have flexibility, live locally and would love to work in a great team, please keep reading.   To be able to make a great impact from day 1, we need someone with a forklift licence and experience working in a warehouse type environment.

About the Role

Deliver consistently high levels of customer service through ensuring all customers are approached and provided with adequate support to meet all needs and expectations within branch and warehouse areas.  Ensure internal customers receive consistent high levels of customer service as required by AGnVET Services Customer Service Standards.

  • Provide service to customers – approach and assist all customers in store and over the phone in a timely manner, asking relevant questions to establish their needs, expectations and providing solutions; communicate all customer inquiries to field team, where follow up/in field support is required; and establish relationships with key customers, and maintain a record of relevant customer information in branch customer records.
  • Maintain and work within AGnVET Services Customer Service Standards – continually implement activities to identify and meet customer needs and expectations; and identify and communicate any additional resources needed to undertake team actions to meet agreed customer service levels.
  • Coordinate all warehouse product processes in line with AGnVET warehouse procedures – ensure all product movement in line with agreed processes include receival of goods into store; ensure accuracy goods dispatched-goods received; advise any discrepancies immediately; process all goods received, dispatched, & transferred; provide timely advice of shortfalls vs customer orders; coordinate deliveries, pick-ups.
  • Maintain warehouse and yard area as a safe and clean environment – maintain warehouse and outside areas including all shelves and pallet areas clean/tidy; all product stored to comply with legal storage requirements; work area kept clean and tidy; dispatch area clean, tidy and has only current orders in holding area; all outside storage clean, tidy and accessible. Completion of pre-start forklift inspections via SafetyCulture.
  • Assist with store stock control – input all goods received into store-product recording process; all customer orders invoiced prior to goods being dispatched; all goods dispatched/delivered ex show floor invoiced prior to delivery to customer; and carry out stock takes as per AGnVET Services stocktake process.  Utilise a forklift to relocate stock as needed.
  • Coordinate pricing of all products/services – input all pricing via AGnVET Services pricing process/policy.

About You
Essential:

·         Forklift licence;

·         Cert III in Retail or minimum 2 years retail or warehouse experience;

·         Computer literacy:  Basic level Microsoft Office (eg Outlook, Word and Excel, Point of Sale Transactions and financial software;

·         Well-developed interpersonal and communication (listening, written and verbal) skills, including the ability to work with a diverse range of people;

·         Ability to work successfully both autonomously and as part of a team;

·         Ability to problem solve, as appropriate to role and responsibility level;

·         Excellent customer service skills – the ability to build successful relationships and to exceed a customer’s expectations;

·         Current valid driving licence;

·         A self-starter with the ability to work successfully autonomously as well as part of a team when required.
