About the Role
Bring your skills and experience in distribution and spreader driving and join our dedicated team in Bridgewater-On-Loddon, Victoria.
You will be responsible for the operation of a spreader truck to deliver and spread fertiliser on farm, as well as maintaining equipment to ensure regular and reliable service. When not driving you will assist with store warehousing operations including preparing goods for and ensuring dispatch of all customer orders in a timely manner.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Operation of a spreader truck for delivery of fertiliser direct on farm to customers
- Spreading fertilisers on farm including lime, gypsum and manures
- Receiving and storing of incoming goods including bulk fertiliser and agricultural chemicals.
- Picking and packing of outgoing goods to customers and store transfers
- Truck driving and delivering seed and chemical orders to customers
- Assist with stock control including and stocktakes
- Building excellent customer relationships
- Champion safety and compliance requirements
- General duties supporting the branch in the day-to-day operations.
About You
You will have experience working in a heavy vehicle tipper and/or spreading operations and/or warehouse environment. Ideally you will have a forklift license, driver licence and MC truck license (preferred) and prior experience in heavy vehicle tipper operations. You should be fit enough to be able to lift 20L drums or bags on to utes or trailers.
