About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Accounts Receivable team supporting our branch staff and external customers.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Responding to customer and internal accounts receivable queries
- Maintenance of the debtor’s ledger
- Investigating and resolving any overdue accounts or irregularities regarding customer accounts
- Maintaining accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date
- Communication of issues that may affect branch operations
- Building relationships and working collaboratively with others
- Ad hoc tasks as required
About You
Ideally you will have a Certificate in Accounting or equivalent Accounts experience, preferably for a retail organisation with demonstrated experience in the Collection and Accounts Receivable functions. You will have a high attention to detail and a mindset for continuous improvement, in addition to demonstrated experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Other skills and experiences will include understanding of retail business transactions, excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, problem solving and effective interpersonal skills.
