About Life in the field team at AGnVET

Our dynamic team of animal production advisors, 80+ agronomists and technical service staff work together to provide specialty agricultural services and advice, that supports our customers with a common goal of success. You will join our experienced animal production advisors and field services team to enable you to develop the latest in animal production technology, providing advanced production advice and solutions.

An AGnVET Graduate

Our structured ‘Grad program’ allows you to develop your skills and knowledge in a structured and measured way.  We support your development through our local teams to keep you across the local, regional, and national changes. This is a career pathway which will expose you to our wide network and support services.

About The Role

AGnVET Animal Production Advisors (APA’s), are a resource not just for our customers but for our staff also. APA’s provide support in a mentoring capacity for existing staff to further develop their technical and sales skills and ultimately their ability to service customers.

APA’s provide advice to our customers ranging from customised Annual Production Plans encompassing parasite management plans, nutritional supplementing programs and industry Best Practice Management protocols, to more targeted programs where our diagnostic and data collection services come into play. Our APA’s are equipped with ‘real time’ data collection tools such as portable worm egg counting units and electronic identification reading equipment to assist in collecting relevant, accurate information in order to provide precise solutions.

As an Animal Production Graduate, you will have the benefit of gaining a good understanding of the branch merchandising operations whilst being supported by our experienced APA’s and field services team in the field. Ultimately providing the complete service to a customer from understanding a request or issue, to sourcing and providing the best solution.

You will be based in Northern NSW and working closely with an APA and extended field services team, you will gain exposure to several branches in the region. The graduate program will commence in early 2026, or sooner, depending on your availability.
