About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional to be a part of a dynamic growth phase.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Sales plan development and execution
- Achieve sales and profit budget/targets
- Development of irrigation project business plans
- Building and developing key customer relationships
- Overseeing the progress of key projects.
You may either be an experienced sales person or you may be keen to further develop your career in sales.
A Typical Day in the life of our salespeople
You need to get out to site to handover a stock water project to the installers, this is a mixed farming operation 30 min west of the office, then meet an irrigator on the river looking at a new Centre Pivot Development, and then hopefully get back to the office to do some pricing in the afternoon. It’s a busy schedule, and no two days are the same, but the focus remains on ‘making every drop count’ for your customers.
About You
You will have extensive sales experience, or passion for sales, and ideally some technical and product knowledge in the water industry or a similar field.
Other skills and experiences will include successful relationship builder, strong sales planning, execution and reporting, management of multiple projects, key account management, problem solving skills and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
